Community & Safety Standards

Effective September 26, 2026

These standards apply to every Pickupz customer, hauler, location contact, message, booking, and dump run.

Emergency? Contact 911 or local emergency services first. Pickupz support is not an emergency-response service.

1. Respect and non-discrimination

No harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, violence, sexual conduct, retaliation, hate, stalking, or abusive communication. Service may not be refused or offered on a discriminatory basis prohibited by law. Respect personal space, property, accessibility needs, and reasonable safety boundaries.

2. Honest jobs and safe access

Customers must accurately describe items, quantity, weight, dimensions, stairs, elevators, loading conditions, access restrictions, parking, destination, and hazards. Secure children and pets away from loading areas. Ensure the customer has authority to move, transport, and dispose of all items. Haulers may refuse an undisclosed, unlawful, overloaded, unstable, unsanitary, or unsafe load without penalty while support reviews the circumstances.

3. Prohibited items and services

Pickupz may not be used for:

4. Dump-run launch limits

At launch, dump runs accept basic household and construction waste only. They do not accept appliances containing refrigerants, hazardous materials, tires, or asbestos. The customer must answer the questionnaire truthfully and estimate weight. The selected landfill makes the final acceptance decision and may inspect or reject the load. A customer is responsible for costs arising from inaccurate declarations, subject to the Payments Policy and applicable law.

5. Hauler safety

6. Privacy and platform use

Use addresses, live location, phone or chat information only to complete the service, provide support, or respond to a legitimate safety issue. Do not record inside a private residence without lawful consent, publish another person’s trip information, or use Pickupz data to contact users off-platform for unrelated purposes.

7. Fraud and manipulation

No false bookings, collusion, GPS manipulation outside labelled developer simulation, account sharing, payment evasion, fake documents, staged incidents, rating manipulation, duplicate claims, or moving a Pickupz booking off-platform to avoid charges or safeguards.

8. Reporting and enforcement

Use in-app Support & disputes to report a concern and preserve relevant photos, messages, receipts, and booking information. Pickupz may restrict a trip or account while investigating. Consequences may include education, warning, refund adjustment, job restriction, document re-verification, suspension, deactivation, or referral to authorities. Reports are reviewed in context; making a knowingly false report is itself a violation.

9. Updates

Pickupz may update these Standards as services, facilities, or safety requirements change. Material changes require acceptance in the app before continued use.
